Unique Double Coating technology.
The unique Double Coating technology covers probiotic bacteria with two different coats:
– primary coating – peptide – protects the probiotic from chemical factors:
• protects bacteria from digestion in the stomach;
• releases beneficial bacteria depending on the pH environment;
• allows probiotics to reach the intestine in their original form and quantity to create future colonies.
– secondary coating – polysaccharide (prebiotic) – protects the probiotic bacteria from physical factors of influence:
• heat, humidity, temperature and mechanical pressure;
• improves stability during production, storage and transportation.
Due to the unique Double Coating technology, the primary coating protects probiotic bacteria from digestion under the influence of the highly acidic environment of gastric juice, thus beneficial bacteria reach the intestine in their original quantity, and the secondary coating, in addition to improving the stability of probiotics, serves as a substrate for their further colonization in the intestine.
